Yellow Butterfly Project (YBP) is a production company mostly staffed by Hispanic talent capable of handle different projects targeting the global community. Its roster currently lists six directors of different nationalities but of a shared creative ingenuity.The team is made up of storytellers and visionaries whose see their mission as offering work incorporating integrity, inspiration, creativity, generosity and good service.YBP originally focused on creating successful commercials, but since their eventual goal is entering the world of American moviemaking, they decided to make a short called Chub. This project, headed by Samuel Albis and Alessandra Gherardi, was entered in the Miami International Film Festival in the Best Short Film category.The story is about a boy who has his bicycle stolen. In the tough job of trying to get it back, Chub strikes up an improbable friendship with a rebellious girl called Steph, a relationship that changes their lives forever. A story of friendship, compassion and courage.Samuel Albis, founder and director of Yellow Butterfly Project, said in a conversation with PRODU that besides making commercials targeting the general market, his group is working on new initiatives for Latin America. We have a new project featuring a celebrity well-known in the Hispanic market, though we cant say a lot about it yet, said Albis, who also noted that YBP is in contact with several Latin American brands that will help it reach its next goals.
